Sephora Foundation Favorites

With the Sephora Insider  holiday sale starting this weekend for VIB members, I figured I would give you a list of my favorite foundations from Sephora. a few of them have high end price tags and rarely go on sale, so this is the perfect time to purchase. Signing up for their Beauty Insider program is free, so if you haven’t done so, sign up! You are able to rack up points every purchase and redeem them for sample size products, which I love. Its a great way to try new products out for free.

From what I’ve read, VIB members will get 20 percent off their purchases online and in-store the weekend of November 9-12 with the code VIBBONUS. And finally, basic level Insiders will get 15 percent off their purchases the weekend of November 16-19 with the code BIBONUS.

Side note: Sephora will give you up to 3 samples of their products to take home. I always take advantage of that before purchasing a foundation to ensure that I like it before buying it then having to return it. Once you have found the correct shade, simply ask for a sample of the foundation to take home. They will package it up and give it to you for free. Many people don’t know that they offer that, so take full advantage when wanting to try out a new product.

Here are my top pick for foundations that can be purchased at Sephora, oh, and one concealer! (In no particular rank or order)

1. Dior Forever Perfecting Foundation– This one has a higher price tag, but it gives great coverage without being heavy or cakey. Great for young or mature skin. Plus, I love that it has SPF 35.
2. Estee Lauder Double Wear– A super popular foundation for many reasons. It gives a beautiful finish with great coverage. It has great lasting power. I like to mix Double Wear with some of my other foundations when I am wanting complete full coverage.
3. Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer– This concealer is not super heavy, so it blends very nicely. It has a great finish and does not cake up when I use setting powder. Definitely in my top 3 go-tos for concealer.
4. Too Faced Born This Way Foundation– Such great coverage and a satin finish. I don’t use this a ton because I have oily skin, so I prefer more of a matte foundation. This is great for those who want a buildable foundation without being completely matte. I still wear it and love it!
5. Huda Beauty #Faux Filter Foundation– This is definitely a full coverage foundation. I love it because it gives me the look that I like but doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. This is a newer one in my makeup bag, so you will see me wearing this a lot. More Sephora’s inside JC Penney are starting to carry this line, so if you don’t have a Sephora near you, your JC Penney might have it.
6. Make Up For Ever Matte Velvet– I have used their foundation for years and years. Like I mentioned, I have oily skin, so this is great for me. They recently changed the formula a bit and discontinued the original one I loved. In my opinion, this one isn’t as great as the old one, but I still like and use it. This is one that I LOVE mixing with the Estee Lauder Double Wear. It gives me full coverage with great lasting power. That combo also photographs beautifully!
7. Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk– Not a full coverage but does give a gorgeous finish. Higher end, so buying it on sale is great. This is definitely a favorite among makeup artist and beauty bloggers. Super lightweight and buildable. Not super great for super oily skin , but it is great for young or aging skin!
8. Too Faced Peach Perfect– I am very happy with the coverage and staying power this foundation has. Great for those with combo skin! It is a mix between a liquid and a cream, which I like!
9. Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r– Such a gorgeous matte powdery finish! With a sponge or a brush, I am very happy with the coverage. Great for all skin types.  They have a great shade range, so you will definitely be able to find your shade!
