This is probably one of my family’s favorite Crock Pot meal. It couldn’t be easier, and it is SO good. You can sub the pasta with spaghetti squash if you are being carb conscious. The ingredients might not sound that tasty, but if my kids like it, it must be good!
Ingredients
4 boneless chicken breasts about 2 – 2-1/2 pounds
1 block of regular cream cheese
2 cans of GOLDEN mushroom soup. You can also use cream of chicken.
2 packets of Italian seasoning
1 stick of butter
1/2 cup of chicken broth or white cooking wine (optional) I always add chicken broth because it gives it more flavor.
Directions
Spray crock pot with cooking spray, and place the chicken breasts in the Crock Pot.
Melt the butter, cream cheese, soup, seasoning and broth in a sauté pan and stir constantly.
Pour mixture over the chicken and cook on low 6 hours.
Serve chicken and sauce over cooked angel hair pasta or spaghetti squash.
