Nothing more convenient than a slow cooker recipe. This chili is hearty and filling, perfect for this chilly Fall weather! This recipe is mainly canned ingredients, making it super quick and easy.
Ingredients
- 2-3 lbs of ground beef, turkey, or venison
- 1 can chili recipe Rotel
- 1 28 oz crushed tomatoes
- 1 can garbanzo beans
- 1 can Bush’s chili beans
- 1 can red kidney beans
- 2 McCormick chili packets
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 jalapeno-optional
Directions
Start by browning the ground meat, bell pepper, and onion in a skillet until cooked through. I season my meat with steak seasoning, but that is optional.
In a Crock Pot, pour in the chili seasoning packets and all of the canned ingredients. Do not drain the cans.
When the meat is done, add it to the Crock Pot. Stir everything together.* You may need to add half to one cup of water if it is too thick.*
Cook on high for 4 hours. ENJOY!!
We like to top ours with shredded cheese, avocado, and Fritos. 🙂
